The SPRUANCE started her last cruise on January 14th, 2005. She left her homeport of Mayport, FL, and headed to Yorktown, VA, to offload ammunition prior to decommissioning. Robin has the distinction of having sailed the SPRUANCE on its first trip to the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station for the initial weapons loadout, and on its last trip for its final weapons offload.
